Meet Sean

You may think it rare for a teenager to be a beacon of self-love, self-confidence, and a unapologetic mission to bring those qualities out it others. But for Youth Pride Chorus member Sean (he/him and/or she/her), its just another day in the life. Sean joined YPC in January 2020, just weeks before the COVID-19 shutdowns, but that never dampened his capacity to thrive and lead, taking solos in several virtual projects (including a duet with TV and Broadway star Alex Newell) and becoming one of our podcast hosts. Self-described as “young, gifted, and Black,” she is redefining charisma, uniqueness, nerve, and talent for generation Z - and it only takes a few moments of listening to “Queens In Queens” to understand what we mean.

Broadway’s Babies has a mission to create tomorrow’s leaders, but for Sean, tomorrow might as well be today. His teachers are constantly leaving rehearsals, private lessons, and podcast sessions feeling like they’ve just received a masterclass in life and love. We wish we could take all of the credit, and can’t wait to see her conquer the world!
