Meet Crowncy

Crowncy Almeida is one of the first students to participate in Broadway’s Babies’ arts programming. She began as a shy piano student who was trained by the first Broadway’s Babies Fellowship winners through private lessons at Shanti Bhavan in India. By the end of just three years of music education with Broadway’s Babies, Crowncy gained tremendous confidence as a budding leader, becoming a member of the choir, a solo vocalist in musical theater performances, and the primary school accompanist. Since graduating in 2019, Crowncy now attends college and is currently a member of Broadway’s Babies staff, returning to Shanti Bhavan every weekend to teach piano lessons.
