Virtual Virtuosos: Shanti Bhavan’s Success with Virtual Music Lessons

At Broadway for Arts Education (BAE), the power of virtual music education is undeniable. Our innovative program, led by the talented Rahul Jhunjhunwala, Bridgette Gan, and Manuela Restrepo, has seen incredible results. Over 30 students across piano, voice, drums, and guitar are flourishing under this remote instruction model.

This virtual success story extends beyond technical mastery. We've witnessed a growing desire for performance opportunities among our students. To address this, we’ve incorporated VMI students into monthly virtual concerts. But these concerts are more than just recitals; they're vibrant showcases of artistic growth, collaboration, and the transformative power of music education.

Beyond the Basics:

Our virtual concerts transcend the fundamentals. Students delve into diverse musical styles, from classical masterpieces to contemporary hits. These performances demonstrate their exploration, technical development, and evolving musical identities.

Collaboration Takes Center Stage:

Collaboration is a cornerstone of our program, and it shines brightly in these virtual concerts. Skilled student pianists now confidently accompany the choir, while budding drummers contribute rhythmic dynamism. This collaboration elevates the overall performance and fosters a sense of teamwork within the student body.

Performance Confidence Blooms:

The virtual stage provides a safe space for students to hone their performance skills. Each concert offers valuable experience in presenting to an audience. Students refine their stage presence, learn to manage performance anxiety, and receive constructive feedback to further their musical journey.

A Testament to Success:

The dedication of both students and instructors is a true testament to the program's effectiveness. These monthly virtual concerts showcase not just musical talent but also artistic growth, collaboration, and the enduring impact of virtual music education.

We eagerly anticipate sharing upcoming concert announcements! To our talented students, keep developing your musical voices. We're here to cheer you on as your virtual performances continue to blossom.
