The second month of the year brought us our first salon of the year in celebration of Black History Month. Hosted by CSG Law Firm, Board Member Brooke Emery, Shirley Emehelu, Broadway Ambassadors Antoine Smith and Ta'Nika Gibson, and BAE student Jayla, we were regaled with songs and stories about Black history, present, and future

The month was also full of virtual learning across New York City with our Urban Assembly and Youth Pride Chorus programs, in India at the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project, and the Galapagos Islands at the Tomas de Berlanga school! While we may have all seen more zoom rooms this past year than we care to admit, seeing our students shining faces almost made it feel like we were together!
