In collaboration with our new friends from the Department of Transportation, Green Arts Live, and the City Parks Foundation, we produced the inaugural BAE Halloween Festival at the Johnny Hartman Plaza in West Harlem. Hosted by our teaching artists and Broadway Ambassadors, we set up carnival games and food trucks and celebrated with a parade of costumes, arts and crafts, performances, prizes, and family fun for nearly four hundred young people and their families from the surrounding community. This year was a year of firsts, and we can't wait to do this again next year!
