Broadway Ambassadors
This year we have 10 amazing performers in our core team of Broadway Ambassadors (BA’s) who work with our youth, perform and fundraise, and help us spread the word about BAE within the entertainment industry and on social media. Thankfully, after two years of the musical theater industry being shut down entirely due to the pandemic, we are thrilled to share that five of these Broadway Ambassadors are currently back on professional stages across the US:
Vishal Vaidya just completed a run of the new show Swept Away at the Berkley Repertory theater in San Francisco, CA; Ali Ewoldt is starring in She Loves Me at the Signature Theater in Washington DC; Joe Medieros is performing in Help at the Shed in NYC; Melvin Tunstall is currently crooning with the National Tour of Beautiful, and Jenny Mollet is dancing her heart out in the National Tour of Jesus Christ Superstar.
Our Broadway Ambassadors who are currently in NYC will be busy this spring working in the classrooms on original music, poetry, and monologues preparing to perform our student's work in Brooklyn this May, in addition to gathering over 150 members of the Broadway community together in solidarity to “Live in the Orange” with BAE in our annual Broadway photoshoot in support of Arts Education.
