Send A Child To Music Camp
3 OUT OF 100 STUDENTS GOING TO MUSIC CAMP!
Each weekday, the progress bar will be updated to reflect the number of students funded to attend the music camp!
Join us for Bhavan Brunch, a special salon-style fundraiser in support of the music program at the Shanti Bhavan Children's Project
Art offers children from underserved communities, like those in India where the students live, a powerful way to express themselves while building confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. It sparks creativity, opens learning opportunities, and helps them imagine brighter futures. Donating $100 to sponsor a child’s music camp experience could change their life forever.
The event is completely free and will include complimentary brunch bites and mimosas. You’ll also get front-row seats to performances by current Broadway actors and the incredible children of Shanti Bhavan.
Help us raise $10,000 to send 100 kids to camp and give them an even brighter future!
“Broadway for Arts Education (BAE) has helped me in many ways to become
the brave and strong person I am today.”

Event Details
What: Bhavan Brunch – A salon fundraiser
When: December 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM ET
Where: First Rug at Boston SoWa-500 Harrison Ave. | Ste 107 Boston, MA 02118
Why: To raise $10,000 for the 2025 Shanti Bhavan Music Camp
About the Cause
In 2024, Broadway for Arts Education celebrated its 9th year of bringing world-class music programming to the students of Shanti Bhavan in Tamil-Nadu, India. Over 300 students, ages 4-18, have benefited from hundreds of hours of private lessons in piano, guitar, violin, voice, as well as general music classes and choir rehearsals. Your support will ensure that this incredible program continues to inspire and uplift these students in 2025.
Music Program Goals
At the start of the year, leadership from Broadway for Arts Education and Shanti Bhavan set the following goals for the music program:
Create a safe, supportive, and inspiring space for students to explore and grow their artistic talents.
Teach and reinforce punctuality, responsibility, and time management to prepare students for success in college and their future careers.
Encourage ownership, accountability, and independence through opportunities for student-led projects and performances.
How You Can Help
We’d encourage you to join us in making a lasting impact now.
The entire event is free, but a suggested donation of $100 covers the cost of the camp in FULL for a student. However, your contributions, no matter the size, brings us closer to this dream and directly impacts a student's life.
Attendance is not required to donate. If you’re able to help send at least one child to camp, you’ll receive a special performance straight to your inbox following the fundraiser.
